Birdville ISD Council of PTAs Hosting Virtual School Board Candidate Forum

The Birdville ISD Council of PTAs is hosting a virtual candidate forum on Wednesday, April 14 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. on Facebook Live. This event will feature individuals running for one of three open positions on BISD’s board of trustees. (All candidates running for the Board have been invited.) 

The forum can be viewed on Facebook Live @birdvilleisdcouncilpta. The event will also be broadcast on the District’s website at birdvilleschools.net. (There will be no in-person attendance.) 

Questions for the candidates may be submitted online at https://forms.gle/uNnyT8JhNUz2i6FQ9 through Monday, April 12 at 6 p.m. (Questions will not be accepted after the cutoff.)

During the 2016-17 school year, the Birdville Council of PTAs Supply Depot provided more than $40,000 worth of school supplies and backpacks to 2,146 BISD students.

 

During the 201617 school year, the Birdville Council of PTAs Supply Depot provided more than $40,000 worth of school supplies and backpacks to 2,146 BISD students.

This was made possible through the generous donations of BISD employees and community members, fantastic volunteers, and supportive campus PTAs and principals.

During the 201617 school year, the Birdville Council of PTAs Clothes Connection served more than 1,500 BISD students.

 Clothes Connection distributed:

  • 872 Shoe Vouchers
  • 602 Pairs of Shoes
  • 7,442 Pairs of New Underwear
  • 7,545 Pairs of Socks
  • 5,548 Shirts
  • 3,225 Pants
  • 1,628 Jackets and Coats
