2016 GRADUATION TO BE BROADCAST LIVE

 laptop This year’s senior class graduation will be broadcast live, worldwide over the internet. For those that cannot watch it live, it will be broadcast afterwards on the ICB website. Graduation can be watched via any computer or mobile device, anywhere the internet is accessible.

High School Artists Receive State Honors

Congratulations to the 40 high school artists from BISD that traveled to San Antonio to compete in this year’s State VASE competition. These students’ 49 artworks advanced from the regional event with most receiving the highest rating possible from state adjudicators. Of the approximately 25,000 students that compete in the VASE competition each year, less than one percent receive the ultimate distinction of a Gold Seal Award for their artwork. BISD is proud to give special recognition to these high school artists who received a 2016 Gold Seal Award:

  • Helen Le (Richland High School 11th grade)

Haltom High School Journalism Wins Several Awards

Congratulations to students in the Haltom High School Journalism Department for winning several awards at the Journalism Education Association/National Scholastic Press Association (JEA/NSPA) National Convention and the Interscholastic League Press Conference (ILPC) State Convention. Haltom High School Show Choir presents MUSICA 2016

MUSICA POSTER

The Haltom High School Show Choir presents MUSICA 2016 … A USO Show – Tribute to the Armed Forces at 7 p.m. on May 13th in the Haltom HS auditorium. This show will feature the Haltom Singers, Haltom Harmony, and the Haltom Jazz Band. Tickets are $5 at the door. Active and retired military receive free admission with ID.
