These Birdville Center of Technology and Advanced Learning BCTAL Blooms students knocked it out of the park at the Rains FFA Floral Contest! There were 87 teams representing 25 school districts from all over Texas participating in the event. Eleven BCTAL students competed, seven of whom advanced to the semifinals. Four of these students finished in the Top 10, placing 9th, 7th, 5th and Grand Champion Overall! Great job representing Birdville ISD! #BISDShines @BCTALBlooms

Inter-High Superintendent Advisory Council students volunteer at Bunny Burrow Rabbit Rescue
BISD Inter-High Student Advisory Council (IHSAC) students volunteered at the Bunny Burrow Rabbit Rescue Center on December 3rd. Located in Haltom City, the Bunny Burrow Rabbit Rescue is an all volunteer, donor-funded, non-profit rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of domestic rabbits, as well as educating the community on how to properly care for rabbits and enjoy them as loving companions. A special thanks goes to Debbie Sledge, administrative assistant for the BISD Secondary Education and Support Services department, for coordinating/participating in this service opportunity with the students! #BISDShines #WeAreBirdvilleISD

Three BISD Students Awarded Prestigious Gold Seal at the Texas Art Education Association’s 2022 State Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE)
Three Birdville High students received the prestigious VASE Gold Seal for their artwork at the 2022 VASE event. Following the event, their artwork was included in the 2022 VASE Gold Seal traveling art exhibit which concluded in mid-November.

Birdville Center of Advanced Learning Automotive Students win in Las Vegas
Congratulations to the Birdville Center of Advanced Learning Automotive students for winning at the SEMA Show National Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge in Las Vegas. Team COMPCam finished in 10th place and Team Vibrant finished in 11th place.
