Francisco Elementary’s Canned Food Drive begins Monday, Nov. 7.

Third-grade students at Francisco Elementary will present their program on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. in the Café.

Binion Elementary’s College Shirt Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8. Students and staff are encouraged to wear college shirts.

Binion Elementary’s picture retakes are on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Mullendore Elementary’s “Bad Case of Stripes” day (everyone wears stripes) is Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Third-grade students from Birdville Elementary are going on a field trip to the Legoland Discovery Center–Grapevine on Tuesday, Nov. 8. (This will be Patriotic Day and students are encouraged to wear red, white and blue.)

As part of their National Picture Book Month activities, Mullendore Elementary students will have a Crazy Hair Day on Wednesday, Nov. 9 to honor the book Stephanie’s Ponytail by Robert Munsch.

Binion Elementary’s PTA meeting is Thursday, Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Fifth-grade students will present a Veterans Day program.

Mullendore Elementary Reading Night is Thursday, Nov. 10, 6-7 p.m.

Binion Elementary’s campus written spelling bee for grades 3–5 is Thursday, Nov. 10.

Haltom Middle School is offering an information and resources session for parents of English Language Learner (ELL) students on Thursday, Nov. 10, 6-7:30 p.m. Topics will cover counseling and community services, literacy support for parents, health and medical resources, along with other school services and support. North Ridge Elementary’s picture make-up day is Thursday, Nov. 10.

Walker Creek Elementary will celebrate Grandparents Day on Thursday, Nov. 10. A traditional Thanksgiving lunch will be provided by the Child Nutrition department. Student lunch is $2.60 and adult lunch is $3.50. Parking is very limited. A shuttle bus will provide continuous service between Walker Creek and the west parking lot at Birdville High School from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Walker Creek Elementary’s third-grade students will perform “We Sing for Our Veterans” on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m. Walker Creek families, the community and all veterans are welcome to attend.

Fifth-grade students at West Birdville Elementary will present the program “An American Tribute” on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Hardeman Elementary’s fifth-grade Veterans Day program is on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m.

Mullendore Elementary will hold the following events on Thursday, Nov. 10:

Reading Night, 6-7 p.m.

Dress as your favorite book character

Book Fair open until 7 p.m.

Birdville Elementary’s PTA meeting and Title 1 presentation begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 in the auditorium at Birdville Baptist Church. Second- and third-grade students will perform a patriotic program.

Birdville Elementary’s Veterans/Heroes Day is Friday, Nov. 11. Everyone is encouraged to wear stars and stripes. Fifth-grade students will also be going on a field trip to TCU.

Walker Creek Elementary’s annual Coyote Moon Dance is Friday, Nov. 11. Students are encouraged to wear glow-in-the-dark attire and accessories.  No Halloween costumes, please.

Spicer Elementary’s Pastries with Parents is Friday, Nov. 11, 7:30-9 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Richland Elementary will celebrate Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 11 by wearing camo.

Mullendore Elementary’s “Llama Llama Pajama” book day is Friday, Nov. 11. Students are encouraged to wear pajamas and bring flashlights to read in the dark.

Green Valley Elementary’s Gator Greats Breakfast is Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:35 a.m. in the library.

Binion Elementary’s Veterans Day Breakfast is Friday, Nov. 11 at 8 a.m. in the cafeteria. Fifth-grade students will sing for the veterans attending the breakfast.

Cheney Elementary students and staff are encouraged to wear red, white and blue on Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

Green Valley Elementary’s Core Value Movie Night is Friday, Nov. 11, 7-9 p.m. in the cafeteria. Parents must stay with scholars. Zootopia will be the movie.

Francisco Elementary’s will host the following events on Friday, Nov. 11:

Pie in the Face, 3:10 p.m. in the Café

West Birdville Elementary’s Fall Festival is Saturday, Nov. 12. Northwood Church is presenting the Festival.
