After having won the Region 5 Top Honor Winds Band in the first round of competition, judges unanimously selected Richland Middle School as the Area B Top Honor Winds Band. They are one of only 14 middle school bands in the state selected for this honor. Richland Middle School will now go on to compete for the title of Texas State Top Middle School Honor Winds Band in San Antonio.
