Birdville ISD is proud of the budding talents of our middle school authors. Birdville Voices, a digital literary magazine, is a compilation of writings from middle school students from around the District. Enjoy their insights, humor, and writer’s craft.
Bill Scott, North Ridge Middle School custodian, recently came to work early to teach the advanced art class the art of marbling. Scott is a very gifted artist, and the campus is thrilled that he shared his talent and knowledge with the art students. The campus appreciates Scott for going above and beyond his duties at North Ridge to give students the best learning experience.

Blended learning takes place when a student learns at least in part online, with some element of student control over the time, place, path, and/or pace of their learning, while also enjoying the benefits that come with education at a brick-and-mortar school. (Christensen Institute definition)

Congratulations to the Birdville High School cheerleaders for finishing fourth in the 2018 Texas State UIL Spirit Championships on Jan. 13.
Volunteer readers are coming to elementary classrooms in Birdville to read to students! In conjunction with the 2018 World Read Aloud Day (Feb. 1, 2018), Birdville ISD will host a full week of Read Aloud events, Jan. 29 – Feb. 2. Volunteers will be reading in every elementary classroom in Birdville. If you would like to celebrate Read Aloud Week with BISD students, click here to see where readers are still needed.
