At their regular January meeting, the Birdville ISD Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Jason Tucker to the position of head football coach/athletic coordinator for Haltom High School.Currently, he is the defensive coordinator and an algebra teacher at Chisholm Trail High School in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD. He brings with him 16 years of coaching experience including: head football coach/athletic coordinator with Burleson High School; defensive backs and offensive line coach at Carroll Senior High School; freshman football coach at Haltom High School; and seventh- and eighth-grade coach at Haltom Middle School.Tucker received his bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University in 1998.
