BISD is looking for parent, community and business representatives to serve on the district’s Teaming for Excellence in Education (TEE) Committee. Criteria for serving as a representative are:
PARENTS
The committee shall include two parents of students currently enrolled within the District and is not an employee of BISD.
COMMUNITY MEMBERS
The committee shall include two community members selected by a process that provides for adequate representation of the
community’s diversity. A community representative must not be a parent and shall reside in the District and be at least 18 years of age.
BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVES
The committee shall include two business people, selected by a process that provides for adequate representation of the community’s
diversity. Business member representatives need not reside in nor operate businesses in the District.
If interested in serving on the 2012-13 TEE Committee in one of the above listed positions, select TEE Volunteer. All requests must
include name, phone number, address and type of position seeking. Incomplete requests will not be considered. Those selected will be contacted by the district prior to the September 17 meeting.

Students may utilize their devices in the classroom when the teacher deems appropriate as an instructional tool for educational purposes. These devices include but are not to be limited to the following: cell phones, smart phones, iPhones, iPods and mp3 players.
