Congratulations to Drew Kates, Richland Royal’s quarterback, for being named the K104/1-800 TRUCK WRECK BEAST OF THE WEEK! Kates was chosen because of his play during the W.T. White and Richland High School game on Friday Sept. 29. As an added bonus, Amy Witherite and 1-800 Truck Wreck will be donating $1,000 to the Richland Royal’s football program.

She earned all 5 points on her submission to College Board Advanced Placement Art. She is one of only 337 students from around the world to earn every point possible in this category.

Congratulations to the Richland High School Royal Band for placing first in finals at the Bands of America New Mexico competition! The Royal band also was awarded overall Outstanding Music, Visual, and General Effect!
