Congratulations to the 2014 Haltom High School yearbook staff for receiving the Award of Distinguished Merit for the third year in a row from Interscholastic League Press Conference (ILPC). This is the first time the yearbook earned what ILPC terms “Star Potential.” The critique states that Star Potential books are, “among the nation’s elite. Not only is this a Distinguished Merit, it will be considered for a Gold, Silver or Bronze Star Award.” In addition, Haltom recently received a copy of Walsworth’s “Possibilities” Vol. 6 collection of top yearbooks, and Haltom’s 2014 publication is featured for theme development on two spreads. Haltom High’s yearbook advisor is Emily Arnold.
