Contrary to recent misrepresentation, the Confederate flag has not been a symbol of Richland High School for almost 25 years. As a parent so eloquently stated, “Rebels mean choosing your own path and defining your own future.” Richland Rebels stand up for what they believe, and they accept that being different is okay.

RHS Students Win Honorable Mention at Texas High School Film Festival
BISD’s Audio/Video Production class’ short film “Luna” won Honorable Mention in the Texas High School Film category at the Lionshead Film Festival in Dallas. The short film was directed by Logan Evans, Michael Morrison and Ethan Speed, with audio production by Jackson Timmons. All four are Richland High School students. This is the eighth festival screening of the year; this program has had films screened in Michigan, Texas, California, Indiana and Florida. Former Student Selected in MLB Draft
Congratulations to Trent Clark, Richland High School 2015 graduate, for being the 15th pick in the first round of the MLB draft.
