Birdville ISD’s Professional Learning Center head custodian Glenn Gregory was recently named a 2021 Hometown Hero by the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce for his work with Mended Network. Glenn, and his wife, spend many weekends doing various activities for the good of the community. #BISDShines #WeAreBirdvilleISD
The Northeast Tarrant Chamber recognized all BISD staff at their annual Hometown Heroes luncheon on May 20. Staff were honored as frontline workers and heroes in the field of education. The Chamber said, “Today, we honor the staff of Birdville ISD for being heroes during the most challenging of times.” Representing the staff of Birdville ISD at the luncheon was Superintendent Dr. Darrell Brown.

Congratulations to the Birdville Hawks boys baseball team for advancing to the fourth round of the UIL playoffs. They will play the best two out of three games against Amarillo High School. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
