Birdville ISD is excited to share with you this construction update on the new Mullendore Elementary campus at the intersection of Flory Street and Manor Drive in North Richland Hills. Funding for this project was approved by voters in the November 2022 bond election. 

Early in 2023, Birdville ISD began working with architects to design the new Mullendore Elementary campus. Because of demolition and construction needs, Mullendore staff and students were moved to the former Richland Elementary campus in Richland Hills, their temporary “home” for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years. Construction began in fall 2023 and is anticipated to be completed by summer 2025.

As of July 2024, significant progress on the new campus has been made. The foundation and majority of the parking lots have been poured, steel framing is in place and walls are being constructed. As work progresses, you’ll also see that the main entrance to the new building has been relocated from Flory Street to Manor Drive. 

Completion of the new building in early summer 2025 allows the District to move teacher materials to the new campus during the summer break.
