BISD Announces Richland Middle School Principal 

At the regular Board meeting on April 28, Birdville ISD Superintendent Dr. Gayle Stinson announced the appointment of Charles W. “Billy” Neal as principal of Richland Middle School. He is replacing Jody Fadely who is retiring at the end of the 2021–22 school year. 

Neal has been assistant principal at Richland Middle since January 2019. Prior to joining Richland Middle, he worked at Worley Middle School in Mansfield ISD from January 2012 until joining BISD in 2019. During his tenure at Worley, Neal served as an administrative intern, instructional coach, English as a Second Language (ESL) lead, seventh- and eighth-grade math teacher, AVID Excel teacher, athletic coach, and was the 2019 Worley Teacher of the Year. 

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University–Commerce and master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
