At a special meeting on Monday, June 5, Birdville ISD’s Board of Trustees announced the appointment of Kenji Ford as principal of Hardeman Elementary. She is replacing Katie Moran, who was recently named principal of Green Valley Elementary.
Kenji Ford has been assistant principal at Holiday Heights Elementary since 2020. Before that, she was a third and fourth grade reading teacher at Sunrise Elementary in Fort Worth ISD from 2018–20, an assistant principal at McRoberts Elementary in Katy ISD from 2015–18, an instructional coordinator at Golbow Elementary and Sundown Elementary in Katy ISD from 2013–15, and held various other teaching positions from 2002–13.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from DePaul University, a master’s degree from American Intercontinental University, and a master’s degree from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.
