Play It Safe Program

The Play It Safe Program is a personal safety program for students. The program addresses such issues as safety rules regarding strangers and different types of touching (safe, unsafe and confusing touch). In addition, the non-threatening and age appropriate program is designed to teach students positive options for dealing with abusive situations, such as recognizing an abusive situation, resisting the abuser if possible and reporting the incident to a trusted adult.

A Play It Safe parent information night will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the Fine Arts/Athletics Complex, 9200 Mid Cities Boulevard, North Richland Hills. This is an opportunity for parents to preview programs that will be presented in their child’s or teen’s class.
