Dear Birdville ISD Parents and Guardians, 

I am thrilled to welcome you back to a new school year, brimming with hope, excitement, and the promise of bright days on the horizon. As we collectively forge ahead, it fills me with joy to witness students returning to our schools. They are ready to embark on yet another year of learning, growth, and connection. 

In this first week of the school year, I’ve had the privilege of seeing our hallways and classrooms come alive once more with the energy and enthusiasm of our students and staff. They are seamlessly reestablishing routines, forming new friendships, and reuniting with old ones. This experience underscores their remarkable resilience and your unwavering support, reminding us of the power of community in creating a positive and enriching environment for our children. 

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your understanding and patience as we roll out a new student information system, Focus, this year. The true measure of any significant software change becomes apparent when it is put to the test by thousands of users! We have been hard at work addressing issues and refining the system to ensure it serves our students, families, and dedicated staff seamlessly. Your feedback and collaboration are invaluable throughout this process, and I thank you wholeheartedly for joining us as partners in your child’s educational journey. 

As we venture into this school year, let’s continue nurturing a community built on patience, support, and understanding. With you, we are a united family … the Birdville ISD family … collectively dedicated to more than 22,000 students! Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. Together, we are poised for a remarkable year, marked by growth, achievement, and unforgettable experiences.
