With the uncertainty of the weather for the week of Feb. 15, BISD will send laptops home with students on Friday, Feb. 12. If next week’s weather necessitates that the District close for one or more days beginning Tuesday, Feb. 16, all classes will move to 100% online learning. 

Monday, Feb. 15, is a student holiday and a professional learning day for staff. Staff will do their professional learning online from home that day. 

Remember, Friday, Feb. 12, is a half day for students. It is important that face-to-face students be in class to receive the technology to take home. BISD campuses/facilities will be closed to the public on Monday, Feb. 15. Office staff will be working remotely. 

BISD will communicate updates next week as needed through the District’s web and social media channels. 

The Collegiate Academy of Birdville is accepting applications from current 8th grade students for admission to the program beginning in the 2021–2022 school year. The Academy is a four-year program that allows students to earn an Associate Degree while earning their high school diploma.

Birdville ISD is closed Monday, Jan. 18 in observance of MLK Day.

Get groceries on Saturdays in January: Jan. 16, Jan. 23 and Jan. 30 (while supplies last)! Provided by the Tarrant Area Food Bank—distribution begins at 10 a.m. at the BISD Plaza in North Richland Hills. Enter the parking lot at 6361 Boulevard 26. 

All secondary students will be required to reset their password when they log in to their account on or after Jan. 11, 2021. Passwords must be at least eight characters long.
