Be in the know: More than a Diploma

Come join Birdville ISD’s Counseling and Student Services Departments on Thursday, February 2nd at 5:30 p.m. at the Professional Learning Center for our “Be in the Know” program. This program focuses on the current services available to our students and families as they navigate through this post-COVID era. The landscape on how to prepare for a career after high school has changed. We will discuss the variety of classes and options that are offered, as well as the array of academic and mental health supports that are available to students.  We also understand the importance of safety and security and will discuss what BISD is doing to keep your students safe.

If you need immediate assistance while the District is closed during the winter break, here are some available resources: 

  • Mobile Crisis Outreach Team 
  • FREE crisis counseling is available by calling or texting the MHMR ICARE Call Center at 817-335-3022. 
  • Crisis Text Line 
  • Mental health support & crisis intervention 24/7.  
  • Text SCHOOL to 741741 
  • If in immediate crisis, call 9-1-1. 

If you or someone you know is subject to bullying or harassment, here is how to make an anonymous report: 

Using a computer, go to https://report.anonymousalerts.com/birdvilleisd  

From a cell phone:   

  • Download the Anonymous Alerts® app for free from the Apple Store, Google Play store, or Chrome store.  
  • Open the app and enter Activation Code: birdvilleisd . 
  • Send important reports to school officials. 
  • Add a screenshot, photo or video about the incident.
