NEW FOCUS Student Information System!

BISD has transitioned to a new student information system (SIS) for 2023-24. If you completed your child’s registration in Skyward before July 12, your data was retained and transferred to the new system. However, the new SIS, Focus, will require all families to create new account for 2023-24. It is a simple three step process!

Create an Account

Click "I DO NOT have an account on the Parent Portal." (top left button) You will then create your own Username and Password.

2. Either Add or Register Your Child

Select the appropriate button, follow the prompts. (Returning students will need Student ID and Birthdate.)

3. Complete your Online Registration forms

(Only if you have not completed your 2023-24 registration)

Birdville High’s King, McMahon, and Martinson Place at Educators Rising National Conference

Members of Birdville ISD’s Educators Rising chapters from Birdville High and Haltom High attended the national conference June 29 – July 2 in Orlando, Florida.  Rising senior Megan McMahon and May 2023 graduate Ryan King placed second in the nation with their Children’s Literature K–3 entry.  McMahon authored the book, King illustrated the book, and together they presented it and answered judge’s questions. 

Jaylee Martinson, a May 2023 graduate, placed ninth in the nation in the Educators Rising Moment competition in which she delivered a presentation of her journey toward becoming an educator.

Additional BISD students also competed at the conference as follows:

Representing Birdville High School were Leila Espino, Abigail Graham, Catherine Pace, Fatima Puente, Joeliz Cruz Ramos, and Ashlin Wood.  Birdville High’s Educators Rising teacher leader is Karen Kallas.  Representing Haltom High School were Genisis Alvarez and Ellen Kenny.  Haltom High’s Educators Rising teacher leader is Tiffany Cox.
