The courses selected&nbsp;should be guided largely by&nbsp;the student\u2019s&nbsp;plans for the future.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Will&nbsp;they&nbsp;continue&nbsp;their&nbsp;education in college or in a technical&nbsp;school\/college?&nbsp;<\/li><li>Do&nbsp;they&nbsp;want to join the military?&nbsp;<\/li><li>Do&nbsp;they&nbsp;want to learn a career skill in order to enter the work force&nbsp;full-time&nbsp;immediately after school?&nbsp;<\/li><li>Are&nbsp;they&nbsp;thinking of entering a profession that requires many years of specialized education?&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The answers to these questions are extremely important&nbsp;when&nbsp;making decisions about&nbsp;a student\u2019s&nbsp;course selections for high school.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Birdville ISD created the Educational Planning Guide&nbsp;to assist families\/students&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;selection&nbsp;of high school courses.&nbsp;The&nbsp;Educational&nbsp;Planning Guide&nbsp;is now&nbsp;available&nbsp;online!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.birdvilleschools.net\/planningguide\">&gt;View&nbsp;the Educational Planning&nbsp;Guide<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Planning a four-year high school program is a serious undertaking.&nbsp; Although many of courses will be determined by the graduation requirements,&nbsp;BISD students&nbsp;still have many other choices to make during&nbsp;their&nbsp;years of school.
