The energy savings is equal to&nbsp;preventing&nbsp;carbon emissions equivalent to&nbsp;36&nbsp;million miles of automobile travel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBirdville ISD&nbsp;made a commitment to&nbsp;lower energy use, and in the process saved&nbsp;a significant amount&nbsp;of money,&nbsp;while&nbsp;keeping facilities safe for in-person learning,\u201d&nbsp;said&nbsp;Doug&nbsp;Bilyeu, Regional Vice President at&nbsp;Cenergistic. \u201cThis program&nbsp;is positioned for further savings&nbsp;as the program continues.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BISD&nbsp;personnel work closely with&nbsp;Cenergistic&nbsp;engineers, experts,&nbsp;and&nbsp;energy&nbsp;specialists&nbsp;to audit and optimize energy-using systems across the&nbsp;District&nbsp;to achieve&nbsp;healthier, more efficient&nbsp;buildings.
