{"id":6464,"date":"2019-02-20T09:00:57","date_gmt":"2019-02-20T15:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.birdvilleschools.net\/district\/wordpress\/?p=6464"},"modified":"2019-02-20T10:30:34","modified_gmt":"2019-02-20T16:30:34","slug":"night-to-shine-in-bisd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.birdvilleschools.net\/district\/wordpress\/night-to-shine-in-bisd\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Night to Shine&#8221; in BISD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"width: 441px;\" src=\"https:\/\/coschedule.s3.amazonaws.com\/12014\/ca630270-002d-4a77-b842-49432cc276e6\/IMG_3492.JPG\" height=\"363\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6467 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.birdvilleschools.net\/district\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_3473-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"261\" height=\"391\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times;\">BISD had a great turn out for &#8220;Night To Shine.&#8221; Everyone had a great time and the students were treated like kings and queens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times;\">The Tim Tebow Foundation has a great passion for people with special needs and in 2014 launched \u201cNight to Shine.\u201d The vision was simple \u2026 work with churches around the country to provide an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs, ages 14 and older.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; float: none; word-spacing: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times; color: black; background: white;\">BISD staff from three different schools helped make this night special for our students. Also pictured are cosmetology students from the Birdville Center of Technology and Advanced Learning (BCTAL) doing the hair and nails for the special guests.
