Online Registration Begins at 8 a.m., Wednesday, August 1.<\/h2>\n

Returning Students
\n<\/u><\/strong>>\u00a0<\/a>Register Returning Students through Skyward<\/a>\u00a0(link to Skyward)<\/u><\/p>\n

With online registration, primary family members of returning students can complete and verify required documents and eliminate the frustration of\u00a0waiting in\u00a0long registration lines at the school. To access online registration, you must have a Family Access login*.<\/span><\/div>\n

If you do not know your Family Access login, you may follow one of the options:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n
      \n
    1. From\u00a0June through August<\/strong>, please visit the BISD Administration Building (located at 6125 E. Belknap St. in Haltom City),\u00a0Monday \u2013 Thursday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.;<\/li>\n
    2. On or after\u00a0August 1<\/strong>, please visit your child\u2019s school.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Returning students<\/strong>\u00a0must complete online registration before arriving on the first day of school.\u00a0 Once this is done, parents will not have to come to the school unless notified by the individual schools.<\/p>\n

      Parents:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Please do not share your login with your child.\u00a0 High school and middle school students can have their own login.<\/div>\n

      * Members of the student\u2019s primary family only (as currently identified in the district\u2019s student information system and on the student enrollment form on file at the school).<\/p>\n

      New Students

      REGISTRATION PROCESS<\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. Parent must submit a\u00a0BISD New Student Enrollment Account<\/strong>\u00a0Request.*
        \n<\/strong>(For 2018-19, this will be open from August 2, 2018 – May 2019.) \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. Once a confirmation email has been received, parents must complete the\u00a0New Student Online Registration<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. Once\u00a0New Student Online Registration<\/strong>\u00a0is completed, parents must take required documents listed below to their child’s campus to complete the registration process.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          * NOTE: To add a new student to an\u00a0existing<\/u>\u00a0BISD Family account<\/strong>, sign into your Student Family Access account and select\u00a0New Student Online Enrollment<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

          BISD strongly encourages parents to take advantage of this opportunity to complete the registration process.<\/span><\/div>\n

          (Note:<\/strong>\u00a0We register f<\/em>amilies by last name so that parents do not have to take off multiple days of work.)<\/em><\/p>\n

          **<\/strong>PARENTS MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS TO THE CAMPUS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. \n
              \n
            1. Parent Identification<\/strong><\/li>\n
            2. Student Identification<\/strong>\u00a0(one of the following): Birth certificate*, passport, adoption records or any other legal document that establishes identity such as\u00a0Military ID, prior school records, or state ID.<\/li>\n
            3. Proof of Residency:<\/strong>\u00a0Current utility bill (water, gas, electric), lease agreement, cable bill, mortgage documentation, homeowner\u2019s insurance policy, etc.<\/li>\n
            4. Current immunization records<\/strong><\/li>\n
            5. Applicable Custody\/Court Orders<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              * For a student who is under 11 years of age and is enrolling in your school for the first time, per the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure,\u00a0Article 63.019<\/a>, certain additional requirements related to documentation of identity and age apply. Your school must notify the person enrolling the student that the person has up to 30 days from enrollment, or up to 90 days from enrollment for a child not born in the United States,\u00a0to provide a certified copy of the child\u2019s birth certificate.<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0If the person is unable to produce a certified copy of the birth certificate, the person must produce, within the same time period, other acceptable proof of the child\u2019s identity and age (see list from preceding paragraph) and a signed note explaining why the person was unable to produce a certified copy of the birth certificate.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
