BISD<\/b> is sponsoring \u201cDyslexia\u2013How to Support my Child with a Learning Disorder\u201d on Thursday, Oct. 27, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Birdville Center of Technology and Advanced Learning (BCTAL).\u00a0Tricia Quisenberry, dyslexia outreach coordinator for the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders, will be on hand to present information designed to help parents learn more about dyslexia and the characteristics associated with this disorder, and to provide useful strategies to help parents support their child(ren). Haltom Middle School\u2019s<\/b> third annual Walk in My Shoes Day is Thursday, Oct. 27. Parents are encouraged to spend any part of the school day with their child so they can experience school through their child\u2019s eyes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The craft show supports the Haltom High PTSA and provides college scholarships to seniors.
