Williams as principal of Shannon High School. He is replacing Greg Farr, who is retiring after 22 years with BISD and 39 years in education.<\/p>\n<p>Williams has been principal at Crandall High School (CHS) in Crandall ISD since 2013. Prior to CHS, he was principal at Crandall Middle School from 2012\u201313; assistant principal at Highland Park High School from 2004\u201312; assistant principal at Westwood High School in Round Rock ISD from 2001\u201304; and a teacher at LC Anderson High School in Austin ISD from 1996\u201301.<\/p>\n<p>He earned his bachelor\u2019s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and master\u2019s degree from Southwest Texas State University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At their regular meeting, Birdville ISD\u2019s Board of Trustees approved David R.
