As part of the contest, team members went to North\u00a0Richland and North Ridge middle schools and Smithfield Elementary to work with students. At North Richland Middle, they talked to seventh- and eighth-grade students about the opportunities available to students at the BCTAL. They also went to Smithfield Elementary and North Ridge Middle School to help write letters to soldiers overseas. The team\u2019s goals were to promote Career and Technology Education programs available for BISD students and show patriotism and citizenship by supporting our military.
